| Remarks | Purchased from Art Mahan May 2003. Wings rebuilt and installed just in time to fly to Sun-N-Fun 2004 then installed an oil filter kit. Installed shoulder harnesses, Samurai seats, MAC 1700 nav/com. Installed annunciator panel for the GNC 300XL GPS and backup electric horizon and certified the aircraft IFR. Flying great! Update spring 2008: I had a seep in the left wing ever since I rebuilt the fuel tanks. Reopened the wing and found the leak at the aft b-nut for the fuel pickup. Resealed it and now it is one of the rare leak-free fiberglass wing BD-4\'s flying. |
